My central idea of my sustained investigation is about my memories from different cities I have lived in. I focused on how we use art to record our life. I was born in Montreal, Canada. I remember the church across in the center of the city, each  afternoon I walked by, the reflection of the stained glass and the shadow of the cathedral architecture remains in my mind. As I grew up, I spent time in Beijing, China and Jeju island in South Korea. Each stage of my life is a new chapter and each city influenced me. I was a ballet dancer, I remember the season changed outside of my dance room and I also remembered the mosaic pattern decoration in the building. After my family and I moved to the USA, I pursued my dream in art, more specifically fashion design. Last summer, when I was walking on the street of New York city. I passed by homeless people  and when I saw them leaving under the subway tunnel, the word mole people appeared in my head. For me art is a way record our daily life like diary. With the use of mixed media, I produced artwork with mood boards and edited at the end to tell different story.
